Volunteer

There are several volunteer opportunities within the organization.

Board Member

By being a Board member, your leadership and communication skills will be utilized to strategically move the organization towards the fulfillment of its mission. The Board members oversee and act on policy direction as well as ensure all the financial and legislative requirements are complied with as per the Non-Profit Corporation Act. The Board meets monthly from September to June.

Student Placements

For either nursing or social work mini practicum students, we are able to offer some practicum placement opportunities
to gain experience in their perspective disciplines. For high school students needing to fulfill their community service hours, volunteers can be used for yard clean up and light maintenance items.
